Why I joined BioCARE: I’ve been apart of BioCARE since it’s inauguration and enjoyed every second! I want to give back to the team and community using my skills and experience in a supportive way.

Fun fact about me: I have a cat named “Sesame.”

Prannav Muralidharan

Why I joined BioCARE: I wanted to gain hands-on experience building a medical device and apply what I’ve learned in my classes. Being around like-minded individuals with a common goal was especially motivating, as it fostered collaboration, learning, and a shared sense of purpose.

Fun fact about me: In my spare time, I enjoy playing the guitar and drums. I also have a strong interest in film and often share movie recommendations with friends and peers.

Why I joined BioCARE: I joined this team in its first year as a club as I saw an amazing opportunity to put into practice many of the skills learned in the classroom. Furthermore I believe that together we can begin to push the boundaries of what prosthetics are capable of and improve the lives of millions of people around the world!

Why I joined BioCARE: I joined BioCARE because I wanted to be part of a community where I could combine my background in biology with the technical and analytical skills I’ve developed through my program. What really drew me to the team was the opportunity to work on projects that have the potential to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Being able to contribute to innovative prosthetic design and collaborate with others who are passionate about improving healthcare is incredibly rewarding, and it’s exciting to be part of work that could have a real-world impact in the future.

Fun fact about me: I’ve probably watched Interstellar more times than I’d like to admit.

Why I Joined BioCARE: I’ve been a part of the team as an exec since BioCare’s founding. And I’ve been extremely excited to bring in my new experiences to help catapult BioCare’s progress in the coming year.

Why I Joined BioCARE: I joined BioCARE because I wanted to be part of something that connects engineering with real world impact. I’ve always been interested in manufacturing and different manufacturing processes, so working on a prosthetic arm felt like a great opportunity to gain hands on experience and learn from others. The team environment also stood out to me because I like being around people who are motivated, ambitious, and push me to improve.

Fun fact about me: I like biking around the city and taking photos of nature along the way, I’m always looking for a good view or a quiet spot people usually miss.
